Ok I'm really hoping this isn't bad....

My car makes a vibration, somewhat similiar to the feel of a clutch that is slipping when the car is under power and over half boost. It doesn't vibrate at high rpms and low boost, or basically any other situation other than when the engine and turbo are working hard and creating more than about 60-75% power.

I'm about 98% it's not the clutch (I could be wrong i guess... it's done this for awhile and babying the clutch I've had no change in engagement for 10k) But from listening to the car it sounds like its coming from the right side of the engine compartment (......) like a hose of some sort is vibrating against the engine block.

Can that be right?

If it is right, is it merely an annoyance?

What can you do to make it go away?

 

You do know your in the wrong section right?

 

did you replace your clutch?

 

Wrong section? I figured boost/turbo/potential drivetrain issues would go in the engine/turbo/drivetrain section?

Is this not that section?

And yes it does have a ACT clutch and prolite flywheel.

 

^^ maybe because he thought that your car is a "06 Evo IX SE" and this post/thread that you did is in the "Evo X Section"..so in any case, what car is this? check your engine mounts..it could be annoyance of some sort..but we can't really tell..
