You dont really need them but then buying the turbo would not be worth it at all.. Id say buy fuel pump and injectors and then get turbo. Thats what im doing!!! so you can support the turbo and run as much boost as you want and your #'s all depends on the dyno...

have you looked at the CBRD BBX? I've read some not great things about the red on the X. I'd look at that turbo with a new fuel pump.

what kind of numbers are you aiming for? what overall goals do you have for the car? some of the things that will effect the advice you'll be getting. I love my red though, getting tuned next week FINALLY! lol

a pump is a must, injectors not that needy but always a plus so you dont max out the stock ones. BUt if you are shooting for 350-400 your stock injectors should be fine

you do need injectors at least 880's or 1000 cc and meth is a must if you want the red perform its full potential at least 30psi 500hp plus it all depends on driver/owner

I really just want it to be a fun fast daily car. Id love to see 400 Hp and drive it everyday. I have a MR to so im worried about the Trans. I have the AMS Trans cooler so hopefully that will help a bit.

^Actually the FPred is better for the MR than the dom2 or the green. You want lag on the MR's. The less torque the better and the more lag = less torque.

Top end is fine for the MR, get the laggiest stock frame you can imo for the MR.

Anyways, a bigger turbo is just like a mechanical way to limit torque Once Garrett fixes their issue with the wastegate arm and valve, the 3076 is a good option. Or I suppose you could buy ATPs external wastegate downpipe to go with it like Hiboost.
I believe hotdog said the FPred was bad and I said it was good. Come on now, props needed

Im sure there are plenty of other options for you to get 400hp in a street car but in my experiences, the fp red is a great turbo to have on a daily driver. It's street friendly but when you want the power, u got it. Good luck with whatever you decide. keep us updated

Bigger turbo requires a larger pump and injectors.

Next question..
