ITs fine we do it on the evos running high boost/stock BOV

 

I have this "mod" done to my stock IX bov and it works like a charm. Key is to not crush it too far or else you might as well just get a new bov... I made a quick little diagram to show a friend and it helped him out...

 

 

thx...good to know ! i did the spring mod on my 6 long time ago and works like a charm too just wondering is the spring mod applicable to the X ? will be taking it apart tmr and have a look whats inside.
