But AMS didn't tell you 500whp was ok on a stock block right?

I inquired about having them upgrade pistons/rods for my block to support 400whp and was told they could do it but said honestly it is not needed...

I asked them to confirm that again, and they stated while they cannot gurantee it wouldn't be an issue, they stated they have never had a failure at that power level on larger turbo's.

So I feel somewhat confident that 400 will be fine. I'll probably start at 360 and up the boost as I get more comfortable

For others reading this thread - I ask again, please post/or send me your load and boost data from evoscan from 2k-5k if you have a green/red/bbx on pump gas.

I will be making a spreadsheet to compare this data and share with the community...

Here is my spool chart with the FP green... Only read the first 3 pages so not sure if you made up your mind or not yet... Having a green I can already say I have an urge for more power and kind of wish I had a red. My car is right around 400whp too.

Weebles, please send me the Evoscan log with boost/ load/rpm info please.

I will make a spreadsheet for the community to be able to compare. I also need to know what gear this was done in..

Yea, i know what it is, just not sure how it compares to actual dyno's. AFAIK it is very touchy and not the best in terms of consistency. Flat road, same start rpm, same gear, etc etc.

I completely agree with what you're trying to do, but to give an accurate depiction of how each turbo spools, everyone that runs a log is going to have to do it exactly the same way. You can't have one guy start at 2000rpm in 4rd gear and then the next guy start at 2700rpm in 3th and compare those two runs very accurately...

Was doing some reading up on the full race manifold, and it seems like theres not too much info on any of the forums for it.

I've been leaning more towards the green, and was thinking about doing cams, but cost and labor for the cams is more than the manifold.

The manifold helps spool for the red by about 500 rpm from what i've read, but it seems the consensus is that the cost of the manifold is not worth the benefit if you run a stock turbo.

Im thinking about running the manifold with a green, does anyone have any input?

If you want data, look at the COBB Dyno database for Plano.

http://accessecu.com/dyno/

You can graph and obtain raw data for multiple cars simultaneously. I know there is at least one FP Red and a Dom 2 on there.

The major mods are mentioned on the sheets for each car.

I am really looking for the load data, and I don't see a way to export the raw data from those plots.
