Pricing was a pain, but I'd do it again.
'Evolution' part (downpipe back) $3,300
Tips (choice of Ti of CF) $600
Just repeating what has been said.

I almost placed my order until I looked at the price for the 5th time. OP please update on how well it performs.. I think I need a little bit more info to persuade myself to spend 4k on an exhaust... Anybody knows how does it compare to the
nur spec?

my friend has a bike that also has an akra exhaust... that is why I am very interested to put a set on my evo, but I was shocked by the ghastly price tag... I know it's worth it and I can buy it, but I think my wife will kill me when she finds out how much I spend on an "amazingly loud chimney" (her terms). I really wish I can be the boss man at home.

$4k for a catback exhaust? ROFL! I literally amost fell off my LOLerskates after I read that.
I'll admit, the system "looks" amazing. As far as sound goes, on video, it sounds like 80% of the cat-back systems available for the X.
That just seems like alot of money for an exhaust system for a $30-something thousand dollar Mitsubishi. I've seen systems for exotics cost about that.

After listening to it again, my COBB TBE sounds better, well in my opinion.

Akropovic one of the best hands down, and car sound is first on my priority list but $4k.........hell no not for a cat-back. Imagine what wisely spent 4k can do for your ride. Sounds great

does anyone even know how much power this exhaust produces? for 4K you can almost get the cobb 400s kit and have close to 400 whp...sounds kinda silly to buy a cat back that cost that much lol

Who cares. It has nice welds and looks so nice under the car. All the bugs & roadkill will love it, lol.

I just talked to my wife and let her watch the clip. I think she understands my love to cars is comparable to her love to decorate the house. However, 4k was how much we spent in the bedroom furnitures, and she can't believe I am spending that much money on car parts...Good thing is..She'll let me buy a fujitsubo legalis, a nur spec or a tomei... I don't mean to steal OP's post, but anyone has opinions or experiences to those?
