Akrapovic Exhaust incoming for the Evo X
What's the minimum wage in Australia? Just trying to get a bearing on what the average income would be in the land of OZ. In the States, minimum wage is $7.25...most of the states. I was griping a couple years ago when the dollar dropped causing Akrapovic to jack up their prices. Paid $2,200 for a full Evo on my R1 before the price hike. Damn near 20% cost of the bike.
I could put up a video of WOT if it ever dries up around here. It sounds amazing though.
I agree with Robevo, the tone can't really be captured by a camera. Will try and get one this weekend, both of inside and maybe a drive-by if I can find a friend that's not busy.

Funny since i live here , is like no other counties exist , and even then ,they barely made it day by day according to any us media... LOL
Have to chime in on how great Akrapovic exhausts are for two wheeled toys. I own a full Akrapovic Ti system on my Aprilia RSV4 Factory, which set me back 2k (included the custom map for my ECU).
I was quoted the following prices for the Evo X bits (in USD, obviously) from one of their official distributors:
$3399.00 -> Exhaust
$670.00 -> Your choice of Ti or Carbon exhaust tips
$500.00 -> Down-pipe
If you want the HFC, you can get that too for the paltry sum of $1300.00 USD.
Kind-a-pricey, but worth it if the quality is as top notch as their Aprilia exhausts.

Does anyone know the weight of this system compared to the stock Evos exhaust weight? It would be nice to see some numbers on that as well.
Edit:
Quoted form the Akrapavic Web site "Going to the other end of our available options, the Evolution system with the optional down pipe produces over 31 horsepower more than stock, while at the same time reducing weight by an amazing 16 kg" Which is 35.27 and that is a decent drop in weight but the Slip on muffler assembly alone is only a reduction 5kg or 11.02lbs, which if you are going for weight its not that much lighter.

I can build my block and have money left over with the savings of getting a "normal" exhaust...

oh and I have an akro system on my cbr600rr and it set me back $4000. For a bike!
