FQ-400 Boost/Power/Torque Curve
Why do you need a warranty? My Evo X ran for over 63K miles before I sold it..With over 45K miles of over 400 HP to the wheels which is a lot more HP than the FQ400.
Warranty is irrelevant if you maintain the car properly and have it built/tuned by experts.

So yes, essentially we are wondering how the Mitsubishi Tuning "Experts" tune their boost. I would like to know that. They have MUCH more experience than some local tuner down the street...no offense to local tuners

.
I recently heard in another thread that the FQ series cars have locked Ecutek tunes. They void the warranty if you call to ask for the password before your car is paid off.
The guy was complaining he couldn't tune his FQ series (not a 400) due to the locked tune from the factory which eventually led to engine failure from un-tuned mods.
So at the very least I'm wondering why the factory car isn't loaded with a better factory tune, instead they use an aftermarket tuning platform like EcuTek. Doesn't make much sense if it's factory backed to me....

The FQ variants are UK only, the 300/330/360/400 tunes are done by Ecutek in the UK, not the factory and colt cars (official importer) in the UK cover warranty. The ecu has to be unlocked via wifi and internet connection, when the passcode is requested, Ecutek have a record. In the event of a failure where warranty is being asked for, Colt cars then ask Ecutek if it's been accessed, if yes, you're on your own! My warranty was void in a couple of months lmao
My point is, while you can come close, you'll never have factory-backed support and that's what the difference in price is.
