Clutch smell after launch...
The clutch smell I induced Friday night at the drag strip finally went away after about 24 hours. Good thing I only launched hard that one time, I was ok with losing 0.3sec or more, not worth the damage and shortened lifetime to get better times. I was more curious how the "test without tune" impact of the TBE was for my times vs bone stock.
Yea brah u shold b fine. And for ur buddies messin with u for not driving it hard.First tell them to go buy a 40k and talk SHI*.I had that exact same issue comin from a Heavily modded civic that I kne i could beat up and it would still ask for more.Take car of ur X!Have fun driving it but dont beat it.
My clutch slipped once after a night at a track.Smelled the clutch obviously after a couple launches. But after that experience i decided never too launch ever again!I just dont like the feelin of thinkin im hurtin my car!My car is fine now,no slippin or clutch smell.I only have about 11k on the clock after 2years of takin it off the dealership lot. U should b fine.Be careful out there!
