Hi Guys,
im writing on behalf of my mech and would hope someone could share and advise about the 3rd Gear Shifting problem.
When during 3rd gear, the gear will always bounce back to neutral without giving any sign...
The synro have changed.
Anyone know whats happening???

Do you mean you have replaced synchros? Have you looked inside the gearbox?
Have you checked the oil level?

Your mechanic is asking you to write on here for help? I'd get a new mechanic....lol...

Either way, it doesn't sound good. If it is popping out of gear on it's own, that's not good. Something wrong with the tranny. Get it fixed.

If he's in Singapore then there may not be a lot of mechanics to choose from.

He should contact Shep Racing, Jacks Transmissions, or another shop that specializes in transmissions.

It can be many thing from the cables needing adjustment to the fluid or the gears/syncrhos going out. Check the cables and adjust them it might just be as simple as that.
