After the 2nd visit the tech thinks that the fresh oil deposits (I reported) are still a result of the original "factory overfill". He checked both trans and T/C fluid levels, and both were correct. Since there is potential for collateral damage during a T/C replacement, I sure hope he is right. Dealer suggested I put more miles on the car and check again. I suspect (and understand) Mitshu wants to be real sure before they pay to remove/replace a T/C. By the way the dealer seems proactive and eager to solve this probem. Encouraging that others have had it happen without further issue. I'll post final outcome...Thanks. Has anyone had the T/C breather burp out fluid after high speed driving?

Could you take a picture if possible of the exact spot/section where you found fluid leakage?

if its happening after you got your clutch in, most likely it has to due with the clutch or installation

i've always had the leak and at times a very light smell of oil but when i got home tonight there was a real bad smell of oil and it was definitely smoking from the turbo manifold area..looked underneath and there was a lot of oil and i saw some oil dripping too.

i dont think we're dealing with overfills here..as mentioned by the OP...looks like the seal that holds the tranny and tc fluids is a problem in the 2010's...too many similar issues for it to be a overfill.

i work mon - fri and the dealer is closed on sat and also the following sat which is going to make it hard for me to take it in
