Unresolved Situation Update

I made a post a while ago about my car overboosting under heavy throttle. Although this problem is unresolved and will have to be tuned out, I am encountering other problems now. When accelerating slowly if I need to slow down gradually and ease of the gas, the car sputters, lurches a few times and then continues to slow. Another issue I am having is the sound of blow off valve flutter when shifting under low boost. These problems were not present a month ago and seem as though they are getting worse. I'm thinking maybe a faulty BOV? ANY mindful suggestions welcome

Could be your BOV. Also, with your mods, did you get tuned?

if your bov has been slowly breaking, it could explain it. When you have a leak the system tries to pump in more boost to counter it.

This is what I thought, could a BOV cause the stuttering I've described?

Question is, should I buy a new stock BOV? or Order Aftermarket?

If you can borrow someone's to test it out, that'd be preferable. If you replace, might as well go aftermarket. I went with a synchronic.

I have a brand new Synapse Synchronic DV if you want one. I'm also running it. Bought an extra one for a friend but he flaked on me. PM me if you're interested.

Well as for flutter in low accel. From what I understand this happens normally, and is not anywhere near enough boost to cause damage. As for the studder, I get it too, but only in 5th gear at like 2200ish rpm going up hills, and was under the impression you fix it just by being in a lower gear on hills.

check the actuators to see if they are opening properly, are you on the stock ones or aftermarket?

I had that on stock turbo but it went away when I went to a BBX and a different BOV. I'm not sure which part fixed it but I'd assume the turbo.

Seems like quite a few people have this issue, unless it's dangerous, I think I'll probably just ignore it.

Its hard to ignore when it happens in 3rd 4th and 5th gear, and basically bucks the car back and fourth rapidly for about 2 seconds... I guess I'll try the BOV first and go from there... Remind me because I havent worked on my car in a while, do I need to tune with a BOV?
