hi all, my car was stuck in snow.. when i was trying to drive my car back to driveway.. it got awc service required , but after i turned off and turn it on.. back to normal.. ( overboost?)

snow in your wheels i believe. my source is from an RA thread, although this same thing happened to me the other night messing with my ebrake in 6" of unpaved streets. all those scary warning lights makes me feel uneasy in my brand new ra
From what I have read, there are 2 main issues to cause that. Over Boost, and tires loosing contact with the pavement. The awc will shut off as a safty precaution, meaning the car will not automatically engage the brakes or give more power to a specific tire in order to regain traction.
With that said, I agree with you all, it sucks seeing random lights on the dash.

I kept getting the service required message and it turned out to be a bad steering angle sensor. It was replaced under warranty (after waiting over a month for the part!) and has been fine since.
