Just like the title says, I am just looking for pictures of where you guys are mounting the tanks for your alcohol injection kits. Also note which kit you are running with the pictures. I want to run alky injection on my X as I use it on every one of my boosted vehicles but I don't know how or where I want to mount the tank and pump.

An engine mounted tank would be the cats meow hahaha so to speak, even if it had to be a smaller bottle.

I am looking for a way to keep it tucked away as I regularly have a full trunk and as it is the trunk space is very limited as you know.

 

I'd like to know too, but I haven't seen any engine mounted tanks. I like the one I ran in my Evo 8 and would be ideal.

 

My Snow Performance setup is mounted in the engine bay:



You can see the tank and pump to the right, the controller is attached to the frame using about 12 in^2 of double-sided velcro.

 

I have the Snow Performance kit also. This was the only good spot I could find. I made a bracket and bolted it in place.

That's definitely the tank I'm using. I just checked my photobucket and I don't have any photos of the methanol install, and my car is currently in pieces in my garage undergoing an engine rebuild, so I can't snap any of how I have mine installed until that's sorted. But basically, I have the pump mounted horizontally on the driver's side "frame rail" and the tank is hanging from a ghetto bracket that attaches to the headlight mounting tab.
