Fp Red new BOV?

So I'm fairly new to evos and doing a bit a research before I go ahead and trade in my 09 Si sedan for a evo x and was wondering; is a new bov needed when upgrading your stock Turbo? I really don't care much about the sound the bov makes rather have my engine working properly thanks!

Crush the stock BOV and you should be good to go with a Red on pump gas.

depends on if you gonna push your car pass 23 psi, but if you get a tune, usually you will end up somewhere is the 25-27 range. crushing the BOV actually mean compress it. or you can get the coto sport bov, which looks just like a compressed stock x bov.
