I mean like the one AMS has or another company that goes behind the driver's side fog light

I am interested in possibly runnin one of those intakes

And as for the other intakes, are they all created equal? I always hear AEM's box intake is good

 

really no need for the intake to go that low... most run the short ram intakes. if you stick to the big names as far as intakes go, (ams, ets, buschar, neisi) just to name a few. you will be fine. actually the stock airbox is rather good up to 400 hp.. if you want to go cheap, use a drop in panel filter from perrin, k&n, works.

 

I dont really care if its pointless, I just wanna know if anyone has done it to their car

 

my buddy runs the ams one. he said it was extremely dirty after a year or so. my short ram is still clean.

 

What about the K&N Typhoon intake, anyone use that? I like how it still uses the intake snorkel thing
