I have the odyssey pc680 battery and haven't had any starting issues at all. I've had it now for almost 2 yrs. I don't drive my car in the winter but still have some cold mornings in the spring and fall.

I've become a fan of Braille batteries lately.

Yes try the odyssey for sure. That level he listed should help you with cold starts. I heard that battery lasts about 3 years

I am also running a Braille, but mine is Lithium (yes, like a laptop battery..lol!). Only 8 lbs and has the same if not more power than lead batteries.

The Odyssey is awsome. That's what I'm running. I think for really cold (Canada) I might stick with a full sized Odyssey though.

all small batteries have little reserve and don't do well in the cold. Might want to rethink the whole deal

And no, I did not pay that much. But it's good to know that Lithium technology is out there and making it's way into cars. I know Porsche even has an option to add them on some cars. With more companies making them, the price is sure to come down.

They are super lightweight, can generate more power than lead-acid batteries that weigh twice their size, and you don't have to worry about leaking or spills. It's seems like a win/win...except for maybe the cost right now. But hey, someone is buying them otherwise they wouldn't be making them.

That looks like an awesome battery but the ridiculousness of the $ is > than it's awesomeness.

Absolutely, it's an option. Just was surprised to see how much is costs.
