Evo X Drop in Cams
Evo X Drop in Cams
Hi,
I am sourcing for a drop in cams for my Evo X GSR and am looking at Tomei Poncam, Kelford A and GSC S1 cams.
Anyone care to provide some feedback regarding the above-mentioned cams in terms of power and torque. Thank you.

If done right. No cam is a drop in on the Evo X. You may still have to change out some of the buckets. Had GSC on my Evo IX and has the Cosworth MX1 on the Evo X. All the ones you listed are pretty good. I did the install on both. Evo IX was way easier. Timing belt vs timing change and like I said the Evo X has some buckets (Tappets) that you may need a different one to keep th valve to Tappets clearance within in limits. I believe it between .014 and .015. Don't have the manual with me.
