so i want to order the hks blow off valve for me gsr, but this is my first turbo car so im still new with how these motors work. im confused about what to order, hks has the option of ordering just the BOV or the BOV kit. which do i order? do i need the hole kit? i assume since i already have the stock BOV i could just swap with the hks alone why need the hole kit? im confused man can some one help please.

why HKS? Have you researched? I would reccommend the synchronic synapse bpv. They have a decent following here on evoM.

Easy solution here. Figure out which vendor you want to order from and then call and ask them what you need. If the forums give you bad info you have no one to hold accountable for it. Work with a reputable Evo parts vendor.

Also, research your BOVs.

 

If you are running the stock turbo, there is no reason to buy an aftermarket BOV. Don't be a ricer and buy a crappy HKS bov. Plus, your car will run like crap with a vent to atmosphere BOV.

 

Get synchronic synapse bov. FTW!
