Rough Idle, 2010 Evo GSR

When I start the car it runs fine but one i get it up to operating temperature the idle will sit at 800 and fluctuate between 500-800rpm. I've already re-seated the air filter so I know thats not where the problem is. Any Ideas?

Is this at at all times or just when the AC is on? I would check for boost leaks. A leak could cause the idle to be a bit rough.

I have this issue. I have had this issue now 30k miles lol. So yea, whatever. Tune shows everything good for me. I just accepted it as a feature of the car. It doesn't do it often though, usually on hot days only...how often is yours? all the time?

I only got 8,500 miles on the car practically still new, I'm getting the feeling i got a ****ty tank of gas this time round, I'm over here in hawaii right now and i've heard gas isn't as good as it is back on the mainland cause of the moisture, Its doing it all the time now, its going into the dealership next week if i don't resolve the problem between then and now cause its still warrantied. Just don't want to go through the hassle of dropping it off and picking it up if its something simple, I'll check my boost hoses tonight.

There is a write up on here about one of the hoses coming off the manifold right behind the dipstick causing a very unsteady idle. Not sure if that's your problem, but might wanna check into that. Good luck!

Mine did that.... fixed it under warranty with a new throttle body, although mine is a 08 GSR...I'd think the issue would be sorted from the 2010.

I think you're talking about a different issue. This is simply a rubber hose that comes off a nipple. just slides on and most zip tie it down usually.
I'll search for the thread it has pics. There v that one
