Well, we should be starting it up tonight to check for leaks. Now that some drama with the stuff I was sent got corrected.

I can not understand why MAP would sell me an engine with 90mm pistons and Darton sleeves but send an OEM head gasket with it as part of the full replacement gasket set.

I also can't figure out why it is even an option to run the factory MAF housing on a turbo made for over 700whp.

The gasket kit is just an OEM one from Mitsu. I had to have them pull my OEM headgasket out since I bought the overbore one from ERL.

Can't wait to see some results!

Got it tuned at PRS in Orlando. The car made 595whp and 485wtq on their Mustang Dyno. This was at 32 psi and on E85. More info in dyno thread.

is this a VERY conservative tune? With your setup I would have thought well over 625awhp.

I've been in the car and can say it defintely pulls strong. Dyno numbers are just that, numbers. Its a tool to tune with and I personally dont get bent out of shape on the numbers.

Also I'd venture to say its conservative though I havent personally looked at the tune, there is some ignition hickups to sort out at higher boost and I believe was said the tune was backed down a bit because of this. Don't quote me but I think the highest numbers were around 61xhp before settling on the above posted numbers.

It has way more left in it thats for sure and the car is beautifully done!

Well I went to the track yesterday in Gainsville FL for a "test and tune" event for Import Face Off.

And I sucked major *****. It was my first time ever at the strip, and I did not want to launch it with my single disc ACT.

First round:

60' 3.071 (WTF right?)
1/8 9.613
MPH 92.30
1/4 13.737
MPH 120.87

Second round:

I beat some dude that ran a 13.4 in a supercharged Mustang GT by about a quarter second. The tree said I redlighted, but went straight from stage to red. I was confused, he went so I went after him and chased him down by about 1000' to pass him.

Did you ever figure out why the cam bearings looked so bad?
