muffler replaced with straigh pipe

Hey guys I have a stock 2010 Evo X and today I installed a straight pipe instead of a muffler. Sounds great but when im getting on it at about 6k rpms pulling hard it makes a studder like its hitting fuel cut of or somthing just for a split second then gets write back into it! Does anyone know why this might be happening

Thanks

Just out of curiosity, how loud is the car no it is sans muffler? I have personally never cared for the sound of any car, even a performance type car with just a straight pipe. They sound too truckish for me.

Your most likely over-boosting from your lack of restriction in your exhaust, Do you have a CEL (CHECK ENGINE LIGHT) on? If not, try to replicate the problem twice in a row, then see if the engine light comes on. In order for the Overboost CEL to illuminate it has to happen twice within one engine cycle (key on to key off)
