has any body used these ebay mufflers. are they any good if I get the custom piping done at my friends shop. I have the kamikaze header, down pipe since it leaks a little bit they are going to cut the cat out and weld the cat to the down pipe and then do a custom 2.25 piping plus a muffler at the and. I know it would work but would sound good or not.

 

i have one and it sounds good i also put one an eclipse and it also sounds good

 

Ebay mufflers suck, if yer looking of an inexpensive muffler with a deep grawrl and awesome sound look up the
OBX B-5 muffler thats what I have and its perfect with the resinator removed....

 

some of the ebay mufflers are ok/decent. its kind of a risk you take. some mufflers sound HORRIBLE. extreme ricer style. so you have to be careful. good luck.

 

OBX is like the main brand ebay carries, lol. vibrant's power1 series mufflers are the deepest ive heard, and your in washington too, i didnt make the last meet up in seattle. but you can hear it at the next one. i have the kamikaze header and test pipe, and its still deep.

 

It also depends on how much your spending on Ebay. You can get some real good brands one there but they cost more. But you can also get lucky and find a good one cheap. I got mine on there for $5 and when it came it was the exact one Pep-Boys sells for $100. Sounds great too

i have an ebay muffler, they said it was an HKS one, obviously it wasnt. But it doesnt sound to bad, everyone at my school thinks it sounds pretty pimp, except the stupid sophmores who dont know ****, lol.

if you do please post it up. some will say that 2.5 sound better but I will loose alots of back pressure going 2.5.

 

ya u loose some low end torque and such with 2.25 and 2.5 . . . but if u plan on going FI then go atleast 2.25.

 

i just got an axle back exhaust with an Ebay muffler..

X3 Racings "Apexi" Muffler with 3.5" tip....looks pretty big, u can see it in my avatar, looks beautiful.

nice DEEP sound, similar to GReddy...however...i still got my resonator and stock piping until my axle

performance wise? doesn't feel faster, may change when i get my intake

hoping after the intake and if i get a hi flo cat, i can keep up with my g/f's mustang a lil better lol riiight

I got a just the canister off ebay for forty bucks, well worth it, seriously doubt it did a damn thing for performance but it looks great and sounds better.

 

ya thats what i did too, i can feel it a little much better than stock, but it doesnt sound 1/2 bad either. and does look nice iwth the TI tip
