Turbo ??

I am new to evos so I am not 100% up on the mechanical side of things but to my knowledge the boost hits 21-23psi and then falls off to 15-17.

My question is will a MBC or EBC fix this so the boost will stay at the 21-23 mark or is this just the nature of the stock turbo/motor?

That's just what's programmed into the stock tuning.

How does the tune effect the boost levels?

The ECU controls boost with two electronic boost control solenoids.

Gotcha, so with a tune it will fix it? Do I need to replace anything? So far I have FMIC, UICP, LICP, CAI and Borla cat back.

I was planning on doing DP and TP, WB and Boost controller. I want to stay on the stock motor and not totally kill the MPG. Mainly just a fun toy not get TOO serious.................yet

Yes, with a tune you can run more boost. Are you planning on getting dyno-tuned locally? If so, I would also suggest a 3-port BCS to better control the boost vs. the stock solenoids, a testpipe/HFC, and an intake (or at least drop-in panel filter). Skip the 3-port if you plan on using an OTS Accessport map.

Yes my tuner is 2 miles from where I live. 3-port BCS <---Boost Control Solenoid? What is the best brand for this? I have a AEM CAI. As far as the boost what is well within the safe limit 23-25psi?
