Quiet for mid-range notes, yes. But it blows my subwoofer around. I can only imagine it being louder inside your house while the car is passing by rather than standing outside on the street. Either way, sweet system.

I'm bumping this for anyone who cares. I just got this exhaust for my X. I will post pictures later (when I find out how), and after having it on for a while, it's REALLY quiet inside the cabin. I haven't done much highway driving yet, so I will post again after I put some miles on it. The stock exhaust note annoyed the hell out of me while maintaining 70 mph...

Install time on jackstands was roughly one hour for me. Car has 4600 or so miles on it.

It's got to be your setup. I have the regular v2 from ETS and its not too loud by any stretch of the imagination. I can talk on the phone, have a conversation, listen to talk radio at a reasonable level, you name it. Its not too loud at all.

If i had to guess its that test pipe of yours.

But anyways, it makes so much in cabin noise, but on the outside, it's really nice.

My question is, where did you buy it/order it from?

DSG Performance. It took roughly two months for me to receive it.

Edit: I guess I forgot to update after I put some miles on the car. I have just over 7500 miles on my X now, and cruising at 70 mph doesn't bother me with this exhaust. It's definitely not quiet at that speed, but it's not annoying to me like the stock exhaust was. I did an auto-x event and the guy working the paddock asked me "Is your car on?" So, I guess it's fairly quiet while idling and driving around it's a touch louder than stock. This suites me fine since I plan on getting a HFC later on.

I think 1700-1800. That's not what I paid, though. PM DSG if you're on the other forum for a price.

That exhaust is bad ***. I am getting ready to sell my new ark single its just to loud for my inside the cab when just cruising. Mine is super loud above 73 mph on interstate, cant stand it. 73 or under not bad.
