Opinions & Constructive Critism on this mod list
I have a completely stock 2008 GSR. I've been doing a lot of research trying to make the best build I can. Here is the list I came up with, any recommendations for the better would be greatly appreciated.
PERRIN CAT BACK EXHAUST (BLACK)
AMS DOWNPIPE
AMS HIGHFLOW CAT
AMS COLD AIR INTAKE (BLACK W/BUNGS)
AMS INTERCOOLER
AMS LOWER INTERCOOLER PIPE W/BOV (BLACK)
AMS UPPER INTERCOOLERR PIPE (BLACK)
AEM TRU BOOST GAUGE
AEM UEGO GAUGE
REXSPEED DOUBLE A PILLAR POD
The reason for the Perrin cat back is pretty much for the black muffler, love the way the tips look. By my estimate all this is around a $5000 price tag. I'm ready to drop $7000 tops, so if anyone has things I missed or better parts please let me know. Thank you in advance.

On the stock turbo I prefer the aFe intake (with dry filter) w/ perrin turbo inlet. Nice clean intake, good little heat shield, and it flows perfect, no rescaling required.
I haven't seen a perrin catback in person so I cannot comment, but the magnaflow is the best bang for your buck out there. Buy some high-temp paint and paint the canister if you really want stealth, but you can't really see it from the back of the car anyways, it's tucked behind the bumper!
If you legally can, get a testpipe instead of a high-flow cat. Megan is a good cheap one that will last forever and make great power.
Also, you're on stock turbo, do the wga crank mod.
3-port BCS, I like the pierburg.
After all of the above, definitely get a tune from a reputable evoX tuner.
Good call on the FMIC, this will help the car make a bit more power and perform nice and consistent!
Skip the LICP but the UICP is a must. Do the LICP if you really want to.
Skip the AMS downpipe on the stock turbo. use the stock one and put the money towards...well, a turbo upgrade...but when you do the turbo upgrade, get a downpipe so yea, couldn't hurt to have it on the car already, but that's up to you
$5000 is crazy. $2000 in parts + a tune for a good stock turbo setup is plenty, just be smart about your purchases.
After this round, buy a set of injectors and a fuel pump and convert to e85 if you can, tramendous bang/buck.

Just do it right before the car gets tuned.
Just yank the exhaust manifold heat shield off, pop off the wga arm, tighten it like 2.5 turns, and put it back on (you'll need an air compressor and some other basic tools for this).

In my experience it helps improve midrange torque a ton. For free, it's worth doing IMHO

Seems like you like AMS parts lol.. anyways, If you dont care for name brand much, you can probably save some money by purchasing different uicp, licp and probably even the hfc (a pipes a pipe). AMS DP is pretty much indestructible so you cant go wrong there.. However, the stock DP isn't to bad, you can probably save that money on labor and the DP itself and put it towards something else (assuming you arent doing the PITA labor yourself). I would install the DP once you decide which turbo you are going with, if you decide to upgrade later..
I would add a bov/dv, 3-port and a good tune with that set up.. other than that, great parts and you should be making some decent power with those mods
