For everyone else, the mod list (in addition to my sig) will be as follows:

1. Manley Turbo Tuff I beam rods
2. Wiseco 9.0:1 conpression pistons
3. ACL rod bearings
4. FIC 1100 cc injectors
5. MAP EF3 Turbocharger fully ported
6. Possibly Deatschwerks 265 lph drop in fuel pump
7. Supertech dual valve springs and retainers
8. Supertech intake and exhaust valves
9. Exchange Cosworth MX1 cams for GSC S2 cams
10. ARP head studs
11. Complete OEM Gasket set
12. Competition Stage 2 2100 street series clutch
13. ACT streetlite flywheel

The head will be sent out to a mschine shop. If the block is damaged then that will be sent out as well. Main studs, engine bearings, and thrust washers will be added if block gets pulled. I assume not since car does run. We won't get a look until i begin the tear down on saturday.

Go with the Buschur Double pumper you'll never have to look back. Just my opinion, but very good list!

I would definitely listen to chad considering the countless evos he has seen and tuned. He provided me with additional options on the phone. He can chime in if he wishes to.

Good luck with the biuld almost the exact same thing happened to me about a month ago on my ralliart and now im building the motor btw you need to add a new timing chain and oil pump chain to your list and also since you have 32k on the car you might wanna replace the timing chain guides as well just cause you re already in there

Were your cylinder walls okay or completely scraped?

Alright guys...here's the update of the tear down.

We began tearing down the motor today and was able to successfully remove the head, pistons, and rods in a matter of 5 hours. Cylinder number 4 with the low compression had 2 cracks on the side of the Piston. Piston 1 had 1 small crack on the side as well. Cylinder 1 wall had 2 scrapes. You can feel it gently with your finger nails. I do not want to pull the block so maybe I can get away with honing the cylinder. The pics are as follows:

Piston in Cylinder #4:

This thread will turn into my build thread. Hopefully it will be successful

Anyways, we found out what happened. My turbo seals went apparently. All lines, intake, and cylinders were being sprayed with oil. This caused detonation and cracked a few pistons. I don't understand as to how my stock turbo took a dump with only 32k miles on it. There are too many variables. This also explains why my MAF sensor went out on the same day as the tune. Atleast that's what the theory is. Regardless of the past, I look forward to a successful build on a MAP EF3. The head was sent off to the Machine Shop for GSC S2 Cams, Supertech Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers, and Supertech Valves

Do you monitor knock or anything?

If your maf went out because of the turbo, then your tuner should have seen the knock if that was the case.

I dont data log but i sure will now. Im not sure what went on during the dyno session but my maf sensor blew the same day. Im not here to make any accusations or burn any bridges. Whether my tuner saw it or not doesnt matter anymore. Its a risk you take when you sign that waiver before you strap on to the dyno. When all set and done, the car will be visiting Chad at CBRD.
