But still a beast for sure, MAP will get you sorted.

I wouldn't push it much past 650whp on stock sleeves imo but its your car

ETS did make over 800whp on stock sleeves and its still running too, not sure how often at those levels though.
Hey Murlo

I wasnt really shopping for an X when I came across Gumps car. I never knew yours was for sale as I didnt start trolling the forums until after I saw Gumps car but it would have been convenient being you're in MN also. Oh well

I will probably end up sleeving the block in the not so distant future and am thinking I may just go big now and not have to re-tune later.

you should get rid of that turbo if you are not going to push it. It will be laggy and not fun to drive. Or have map put a sleaved motor in and get full use of the turbo.

thats what i keep telling him, he has a very narrow powerband right now. either smaller turbo, or sleeved and crank it up and raise the redline past 8k. i drove the car back to the midwest from the east coast for him. its a well built car with good parts, but as it sits, its a mismatched compromise.

The car isnt that laggy at all , its starting to spool at 4.5k like most 2.0L builds do. Add the final drive in and the powerband is broad enough to be just fine to drive.

I'm not going smaller , I like the way it is now and having room to grow. Its nice to be able to make 600hp on 25psi.

I'll probably be sleeving the block when I get used to the power level I'm going to run currently
