OP, I agree with previous statements regarding race season. I'm having ERL do my block, but the turn around is much faster because they had a block already sleeved to the same specs so I just went with that one. I know that the wait list for Darton is supposed to be a couple months.

I hate shops that focus strictly on high dollar builds while still accepting regular work. It seems like the guy who wants a simple bore and hone always gets screwed in some way or another. If your shop and talent are tied up on a 100k build then at least tell customers up front that there is a 2 month lead time before anything can be done. I think all shops are guilty of this to some extent and it always ends up as a bash thread against a shop that may actually do good work.

To the OP: I would suggest waiting on quality rather than jumping in bed with someone you don't know biblically.

Not yet,
and in no way am I down talking iveys tuning and building it's the best out there.

I just want to get my block sleeved or a sleeved block ASAP. And am looking for reliable help if Ivey can't do it.

Yes JR does the tunes there....call lucky (516) 608-9930 tell him sam referred you so you get some hookups on labor. Great work...and he is quick...that is where mine is being built
