Hi, I have some sort of grinding noise/resistance from 1st to 2nd gear. It happens rarely (2-3 times a month) but is annoying as hell. I would have to force it in or play around with the clutch pedal at times to get it in gear, no problems with any other gear though. I tried the clutch/stall test and stalls just fine, also car speed seems to match the rpm. My car has 22k, bone stock, never launched, only thing I've done and out of curiosity was double clutching. Do you think that cause this? Do you think it's the clutch or synchros? God forbid it's my synchros will this be covered under the warranty? Thanks in advance

 

Have you changed your transmission oil? I know it sound too simple but let's start with the basics.

 

I'm actually about to as somebody had suggested at another site. They said the redline mt90 is the best, problem is I've been driving around and I can't find this anywhere. Lots of places where I live only have royal purple. But I read others complaining that this messes up your engine. Any ideas where I can get the redline brand from? I'm trying to avoid buying it from the internet.

 

Buy 2 qts redline MTL and one qt MT 90. It's called the Evo X "cocktail" and works pretty well. Buying from Amazon, or order it complete from MAP.
