Stock CMC and hydraulics frustrations

Just had my CMC fixed under warranty at 17miles. i have not modified the clutch. Dealer said that it failed and broke apart and they replaced it. After driving the car for about a week at about 300 miles i was having the same symptoms like weak pedal pressure, no pedal return etc. I returned it to the dealer and they said that this time it was my brake master cylinder that was leaking at the seal on the booster. This was supposedly replaced under warranty and again not even after a week with the same miles driven i have the exact symptoms. I did notice that there is fluid more towards the outside of the car where the CMC is located. There is no way the new parts can fail that soon right? i just want to drive my car!

Sounds like a lot of bad luck, or a lot of stress going into your clutch hydraulic system.

What year is your evo?

Are you he-manning the pedal or what?!? Anything new/different than before...have you been in a lot more traffic, sitting at lights holding the pedal in for extended periods of time, etc etc etc.

Something goofy going on with your system. Take it back under warranty again, and if needed, look into your state's "lemon law" requirements.

Buy the Evo9 CMC retrofit kit and call it a day, 3,000 miles and no troubles.

And its Metal!
