Yea, wth is a dead zone.

How long have u had the car. When I installed my twin disc it took me a good 2 weeks to get used to it and break the habit from the stock clutch.

Dead zone? Do you mean it takes forever to engage?

It depends...my stock clutch lets out at the end of the stroke...but its always done that. Maybe you just need to get it adjusted?

If it has an aftermarket CMC you can adjust the pedal so that it engages a little lower. Really though, you can just probably get used to it. For racing we keep it so that it engages far out so that we don't take time to push the pedal in all the way. I just dab at the pedal and shift, fast.

Actually that makes alot of sense. I spent most of today practicing it and i got used to it already. I guess it was just frustrating at first. But shifting is deff easier. Thanks man!

So engagement is high, not always fatal but a bad sign.

My evo came the same way, with a 6 puck installed, and not being able to adjust the pedal engagement point is very annoying. Ive been driving it for weeks and still getting used to the high engagement point, my M3 engages right off the floor so every time i switch cars I have to relearn my muscle memory lol
