do i need head studs

im starting my engine build next month and i was told that its a most that i get head studs since im doing cams and valve springs....

is that true or can i do without them and be fine!

i would just get them. i believe the stock head bolts are stretch type and need to be replaced when you pull the head anyways

If the head is coming off then you will need to buy new headstuds, stock or aftermarket is your choice.
