Stuck shifter

So I was driving and I shifted into third and all of the sudden it just felt like my whole entire gearbearbox just shifted to the right. Its stuck all the way to the right and I can only shift into 1st-4th. When I'm driving at a certain speed it just moves freely. Wtf just happened....

here he posted this in our group on FB

hopefully it shows up or we will post this on a photobucket account.

Since we are not close to him , we can't determine what it is.

I know that with his clutch just got changed , the shop that he took it to , didn't even offer to change his CMC ( wich to me its a no brainier for any shop to offer when doing an expensive clutch change)

Also something we threw around is that one of his shifter bushings broke. It could be at the tranny side since he posted pictures of the exposed shifter and we can't see anything.

the last thing could be that the shop he took it to did such a ****ty job that it somehow grenaded the tranny.

Most of the shops in our area are closed for SEMA this week. His other choice is the stealership. But knowing them they won't offer him any help since he has an aftermarket clutch.

The group suggested he waited until a speedshop is back open.

Good thing it was just that, could've been so much worse! Glad you got it all worked out though
