So I had this issue before and what happened was I was shifting into third and the cotter pin fell out of the hole where it stops the shifter link bushings under the engine so it slipped off. It just happened again the other night too...it's a very easy fix but I'm trying to see if anybody else is having this issue. Thanks

 

yup, what i actually did on my last evo was use a typical round key ring and never had any issues lol
