hi, i have a 09 lancer es sport with a evo x 4b11t full engine and turbo swap and now have a bunch more done.
i recently installed evo x ecu and everything runs great on the car but i seem to get a engine code no one can figure out -u0121 for abs/asc not communicating...now i do not have asc in my lancer and know evos have it so im wondering if it is possible to delete the code or shut off asc in the ecu? Is there anyway you guys can help me! This is the only engine code i am getting that is causing me a issue that i cannot get off! Other than the engine light car runs great and everything is tuned perfect. Some one please help me get rid of u0121

 

It's because you put a AWD engine in a FWD car not to mention that you put in a EVO ECU instead of tuning the Lancer ECU.
The EVO's ECU has the AWC - SAWC controle so since your car is a FWD it is missing all the sensors for the SAWC making it code with that ABS code.
The SAWC controls not only the power in a EVO but also the ABS for each wheel.
As long as you run that ECU you will always have that code.
You might could check with your local tuning shop if they can erase the AWD programs from the ECU but 'm not shure on that.

Best bet live with the light or swap back the stock Lancer ECU and take it to get tuned or check online for a aftermarket stand alone ECU.

 

I know this is false because there are many other lancers with n/a engines who turbod ghere cars snd swapped to evo x ecu and do not get any codes in fwd car .... I already tuned stock ecu anx tried using aem fic 8 but a different code is set this is why i switched to evox ecu because everyone else did it in the lancer forum and they were all set. I have been working with a tuning shop on this and plus some fwd lancers come with ASC from factory
