Pcv

So my car smokes a bit at WOT...kinda greyish smoke for those wondering. anyhow i found a post that someone changed their pcv and it fixed the problem. So i'm like, wonderful, I'll pick one up tonight for 5$ and give it a whirl... WRONG. After calling autozone, orielly, advance, etc i find that the only person who has it is the dealer who wants 58 F'ing dollars for a plastic check valve. I'm thinking ok time to online shop. So i check ebay, google, etc... can not find a dam thing! Am i really stuck with the dealer part? Also, this led me to several catch can threads as you can imagine although it seems i will still need to run a pcv inline with the catch can so thats no real solution. So, here's where i'm at:

1. Is this really a pcv issue?
2. Should i just dip my current pcv in some seafoam and blow it out till its clean?
3. Is it tired turbo seals like i thought originally?
4. Anyone got a line on a cheap pcv that works?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Remove your stock PCV valve, inspect it, check it for smooth operation, and clean it if necessary. See if that helps and go from there.

Are you sure it's not just regular exhaust though? Evos are known to be smokey under WOT conditions.
