So my EvoX started making this noise while i'm shifting into 1st and 2nd.... It does this when i'm driving and when car is off. I'm hoping it's something minor....

4500 miles in 2011 GSR. No mods cept weighted shift knob.

 

dont rest your hand on the knob when your not shifting

 

i usually dont.... what can i do to remedy this squeak?

 

the rubber bushings maybe?

 

take it back to the dealer as it sounds like it's still under warranty. my guess it needs grease under the shifter or the shifter cables themselves.
