FP Red questions

I've made my decision to go with an FP Red. Looking at the options u can get to go along with it, it asks what WG actuator u want. Stock, 18 PSV or 25 PSV. What is the significance of these? Also, it asks if u want it ported. Will this effect spool? can anyone give me some pros and cons to porting?

The wastegate rating sets your minimum boost pressure and the higher the number the more it'll clamp down on higher boost. So if you are ok with running around town at 25PSI then get the 25psi if you need to run less which most people do then get the 18PSI.

There are no cons to porting while it's not a night and day difference it will help spool quicker, reduce turbulence in the inlet of the turbocharger which in turn reduces hot spots in the turbine housing. It's a pretty simple process where the inlet of the turbocharger is gasket matched so that there's a smooth entrance into the volute of the turbo charger then any casting flaws are removed to further smooth out the transition into the turbo.
