i wanto swap the crossflow exhaust to soemthing else that sound a little lounder but no drone. what do you guys think. i was looking at quiet exhaust thats why i bought the crossflow. however, it sounds so stock and the finish look a little cheap. i am still looking for quiet exhaust to replace it, but a little louder. what do you guys recommand.

i was gonna say t1r but it's quieter than the crossflow...you probably want a quiet single exit, like greddy or invidia.

Get a high flow cat. It will make the cross flow quite a bit louder.

 

i had the hightflow cat and downpipe ordered. but at some point i still wanna swap it out because i just dont like the magnaflow muffler on a jdm car.

 

Not really. Drone and overall loudness are quite different. There are quiet exhausts that drone and there are loud exhausts that don't drone at all. There are also exhausts that do neither (e.g., T1R Sparrow) and there are exhausts that do both (e.g., Agency Power dual-tip with Y-pipe).

 

what do you guys think about cobb oval tip. i am had their down pipe and hfc but not install yet. do you guys think i am just dumpping the money for nothing but brand or it is worth to use it replace the crossflow?
