Question Evo X hesitation at start up

Earlier today, I went out to start my car and it took a bit before it started up. Probably about a good 5-10secs. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Its a 2013 and completely stock. i have about 4.6kmiles on it and this is the first time it had happened.

I have the same problem but I think it something to do with the ambient temp sensor. Next time when you try to crank and you have the same issue look at your cluster and the temp reading. It should read higher than what it should be

Check the battery, my completely stock 2010 X MR's battery would uncharge by itself and would start hard too.

The time it happened was at night for me so heat wasn't an issue there.

The problem didnt show itself again after about 3-4 days of driving it. It turns on normally now.

I have yet to check the battery. many people have told me it could be the battery as well. I will get it checked out once it does happen again or whenever i have time this weekend. Thanks for the advice everyone. I appreciate your inputs.
