Tune Necessary?

Hello All,

I just acquired an 08 Evo X GSR. The car is mostly stock except for the a UCIP and Perrin Turbo inlet pipe.

I want to get the BOV sound by adding a short-ram intake. (Probably K&N)

Is it safe to run without a tune?

Thanks.

Oh, yeah I was reading around too. Some threads say yes and some say no. So I was looking for the most current answer.

it wont require a tune, but if you want the most power for your money out of the intake, its always a good idea to tune it!!!
