Test drove an evo mr today, was so excited. The dealer had to put a booster pack on the battery because it was supposedly dead... Stupid I know. The car was virtually undriveable. When I applied the gas pedal more that 20% it would stutter and jerk, followed by check engine light. Is this normal for an mr that needs a battery or is the tc-sst screwed and I should stay away?

They're replacing the battery on Monday apparently and going to call me to reschedule the test drive if that solves the issue.

Because it's all electronic I imagine?
It would still jerk and stutter in manual mode, sport, normal

 

Try again once it has a new battery.
