How big of a turbo should I go

So I'm trying to research a new turbo setup. Was running a gt3586 hta twin scroll on my old one. Have a 2.5 sleeved stroker. Car is gone now but I have the engine, was in an mr where I was limited on tuning.

My question is how big of a turbo should or could I go? I'm thinking that old setup could perhaps get 600+ on a gsr, but what if I was shooting higher? No I don't know how high but the 3dx evo from phantom runs a precision 6466. And he is 908hp on a 2.0.

What turbo would be too big? I've been looking at the gt42r twin scrolls. Too much? My 35r spool was quite fast compared to what I hear most people talking about them.

Just looking for some feedback from the evo x world. And I'll be looking for a tuner near the Tennessee area, suggestions on that?
