hey, i looked over the forums for an issue like this and didnt see anything.

on my way home from work today, i put my 2010 special edition into super sport. After about 20 seconds of driving, the transmission check alert came up on the display and the check engine light came on.
The car then would not shift into any even gears, not in any mode. after putting it back in normal automatic, i still had to manually shift it into the next gear, and it still skipped all even gears.
Im hoping someone could shed some light on what might be the issue and how serious it could be.

Evo doesn't have a CVT transmission.

To actually answer your question, SST is in limp mode i believe. I had this problem on my 2011 SST. I changed the fluid and filter, and it worked great again. That is what i suggest doing. Also, i do not think you searched very hard, as there are tons of threads on this already. If you have trouble searching on evom, simply google your problem and it will normally bring up EvoM or EvoX thread(s) that have to do with your problem.
