I suggest, btw, the gap between a Mustang and Dynojet is not that large. NASA rules allow for a 10% adjustment and even that, presuming the dyno is set up properly, is likely a little high.

I have this turbo, spools up faster than the gtx3071 yes... haven't maxed it out yet... thinking about selling it, as I need 700 hp in the next few months.... so its going to be stoker, big bore, or bigger turbo, or a combo of some sort... im willing to give this one a fair chance before I ditch it...

this turbo at ~22 psi should get you at least 170 more hp than a completely stock x, peak for peak on pump gas

I am putting together a similar setup but went with the 3582. I want at least 500whp on the stock motor. Going to have the following:
ATP GTX3582
ETS 1.9" tubular manifold
Kelford 214C cams and springs
HKS head gasket
ARP head studs
FIC 1200cc injectors
DW 265 pump with wiring upgrade
ETS 4" fmic
Jacks built SST with 600 hp clutch packs
intake, full exhaust, etc.

FYI these turbos are not stock frame. They are stock replacement, meaning they have a custom cast hot side that will bolt to either the stock or any stock replacement manifold.
