Anyone Running Rotella Oil?

Trying to find out the best viscosity of Rotella to use with our cars. They do not make the viscosity 10 W30. I like this oil because it is not stripped of protective properties like oils off the shelf at auto parts stores. Any input much appreciated.

you want to use the T6 5w40. I have been using that on my car for 3 years now and no issues thus far

I have been using Rotella T6 5w-40 in all my DSM's and my EVO. But they DO make a 10w-30.

Any advantage/disadvantage to using this oil vs Mobil 1 or really just driver's preference? I am about to do my first oil change on my EVO (bought 3 months ago) and trying to decide which route to go.

I used amsoil on my first change its expensive i think next time ill just use mobil 1 . As long as the oil is changed regularly with the filter its not a big deal which oil imo as long as its full synthetic

Be careful with this mentality. You can get caught in a place where any oil is good as some say oil is oil,, not true.
Oils are like any other product there are high end materials that are used for good formulated OIls and there are low end products for low end Oils.

Always look at the ASTM testing the Oil manufacturer has completed and compare product to product. If a company does not show testing then I would question their integrity. But then again not everyone buys a product based on the performance, most people buy products based on word or mouth or feelings/opinions

You will not have an issue with the standard M1 ever. Anyone that tells you different is a damn fool. Pathetic really

The M1 EP and HM have better additive packages than the standard. Use a fully synthetic and send the oil in for UOA to really give you an idea of how an oil is working in your application

Use Rotella T6 in the Fozzy XT and UOAs have been flawless.
