Redline D4

Was thinking about changing the awc fluid to redline. Has anyone just used a turkey baster to suck out the OEM fluid and then filled with the redline or do the two not mix well? Thanks for replies.

There's more fluid in there than what you see in the resevoir, so the turkey baster wouldn't work. And the fluid is being used as a hydrolic fluid, not a gear oil so I don't know if the Redline fluid has similar hydrolic properties, or why you'd want to change it anyway.

I have been hearing issues with the OEM fluid during cold temps. I just bought the car used and not sure where it was from originally but it gets cold here so I was worried about the pump failures I have been reading about that are attributed cold weather and thick OEM fluid. Heard the D4 is a good cold weather replacement.
