Redline Cocktail vs Mitsu Diaqueen MR tranny fluid
Has anyone been running the Redline cocktail in their transmission with success? Basically its 2 quarts of MT-90 and 1 quart of the MTL. I’ve been running the Mitsu Diaqueen for the MR 6 speed (part # MZ313376) with good luck. The Redline is cheaper but I don’t care about price. I just want to run the best transmission fluid. Trying to get some opinions between the 2 transmission fluids.
I don't have a MR but I tried the Mitsu fluid and the Redline. They both work, but you get the ease of mind when you use the Mitsu fluid because you know that you're using what the factory recommend or what came in your car in the first place.
I noticed that there's a little firmer feel when I use the Redline. I'm thinking about using Amsoil next. Heard that it's really good, and pretty much cost the same as Redline.

Thanks! I don't have a 6 speed BTW. All the transmission builders seem to like the Mits MR 6 speed fluid and suggest it for the 5 speed but they also mention the Redline to be good as well.
Yeah, I actually like the feel of the Mitsu fluid more, but it's cost and availability of it that made me try the Redline. With the Mitsu fluid, I know I leave it in there for atlease 15K-20K mile, but with the other fluid I'm afriad of leaving in there too long. I think most shops suggest using the OE fluid, Amsoil, and Redline. I heard that everything else is pretty bad. If money isn't a problem for you, I suggest the OE fluid.
