Clutch not disengaging. Built transmission

I recently had TRE build a transmission for my 10` GSR. When the transmission was taken out, the clutch worked fine. The clutch(exedy twin) was not taken out and the hydraulic line was left attached to the slave cylinder.
When we installed the transmission and started the car, it would jerk forward(if started in gear), and not go into gear(if started in neutral). The wedge collar is still attached. The shop it is sitting at currently thinks it might have been a mix up on TRE's part and they installed the wrong clutch fork(evo 8/9 fork in the X tranny).

Any insight on this? Could an 8 fork be installed into an X transmission and cause this problem?

Happened to magically fix itself. As they were pushing the car onto the lift, it started right up fine Not really sure how this could happen, but oh well.

Everything's smooth now. The transmission shifts better than ever! to TRE

Sounds like the disk seized to the pressure plate. I've had that happen with customers that slipped the clutch excessively, then parked the car. Sometimes it will pop loose. I had one come free once while winching the car onto a trailer.
