Advice on rebuilding car

Long story stort I have a 2010 GSR with these mods,
-MHI TF06 18k Turbo
-ID 1000cc Injectors
-Walboro 255lb Fuel Pump
-AMS IC Upper and Lower
-AMS Intake...
-Kelford 214b Cams w/ Valve Springs
-ETS Intercooler
-ETS Downpipe
-Cobb Exhaust
-Forge BoV
-Grimmspeed 3port Boost Controller
I put down 335whp 288tq
VERY Low for this setup. And again on e85 I put down 401whp/384tq same setup just changed maps. Again low for this setup. Finally found out that my ring in cylinder 4 is bad. The car had been shooting carbon out the exhaust quite alot and also burning a bunch of oil. Also dipstick would popout under WOT here and there. I don't plan to mod the car anymore I'd like to stay 400whp after the rebuild. Just wanted to see someones advice that's been there on how you went about it. The plan is a full rebuild at Evolution Dynamics however it looks like it's going to be 6-8k. Any other options?
Thanks for the input!

could always buy a factory block from mitsu... I doubt its going to save you all that much.

Best of Luck!

A factory short block could be had for under 3k, but I would just build the motor. Even if you don't plan to push the power a proper build should be more reliable.

Are you ok with spending 8K or is your question how to get it done cheaper? If you are ok with the 8K and you are planning on doing it anyway to rebuild the stock motor, you might as well go with a 2.2L MAP swap. Will probably run you a little less than 8K with the core charge. My advice if you are gonna spend that much money, upgrade unless that is what you mean by a full rebuild by Evolution Dynamics. You said you wanna stay at 400hp but what are your goals with the rebuild?
